The 2020 vintage opens with a refined aromatic profile—delicate white-flower and citrus top notes segue into subtle herbal, white-tea and mineral layers. One reviewer describes:A complex and expressive nose, including herbs, white tea, citrus fruits and floral elements. Razor-sharp on the palate, the wine is clear, pure and lean, lingering on the finish for a long time.
On the palate, this wine is characterised by vibrant acidity, a striking mineral core and a lean but focused texture. The finish is long, with a saline, chalk-driven persistence that underscores the limestone/clay soils of the site. One description states:
Smoky mineral reduction… this is both the most complete and also most saline of the bunch… the spine of acidity provides a rod that holds it all in line.
Compared to preceding years, this version displays a lovely tension and purity: modest in weight but high in precision and minerality. According to the producer’s notes, the 2020 growing season began with favourable flowering, had some mid-summer heat, and delivered grapes in excellent condition.
