The 2021 Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre is also a strong performance in this more challenging year, revealing a classic bouquet of citrus oil, crisp green apple, white flowers, iodine and freshly baked bread, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny palate that’s impressively deep and layered, with racy but nicely integrated structuring acids.
