The 2020 Barbaresco Pajè opens with deep spice and menthol notes juxtaposed with vibrant red Nebbiolo fruit. It has lovely inner perfume and sweetness, and is wrapped in firm, sinewy tannins that give shape and structure. Galloni describes it as a young, classically styled Barbaresco that will need time to fully reveal itself.
