Mouton Rothschild light, with more brick than red in the color. Medium bodied, with a brightness to the red berries and cranberry fruits that are accompanied by spicebox, cedar, lead pencil, forest floor and tobacco notes. There is charm without a lot of depth and with the higher levels of acidity creeping in, the wine is on the fading side of life. If you have a few bottles, you should be popping a cork sooner than later on this as it is not going to get better from here.
